Me and my husband were having a debate on the fact that bartenders move and work just as hard as servers. He basically eats whatever he wants (just like any man) and never gets fat. Me on the other hand, (bartender) gains weight very easily. He tried to say it's not cause he's a man that he doesn't gain weight, it's because he's a server and he gets a great physical workout at work. I know this is a stupid question, but I want to prove to him that being a man, he has a faster metabolism and less body fat naturally so it will always be easier for him to lose weight even if we do the same routine.

Hey all. I am 15. I started smoking about 2 days ago and wanted to know if feeling unbalanced is normal. I smoke and then I feel relaxed to the point of wanting to sit down and wanted to know if this is normal. I am going to stop tomorrow and wanted to know if those were normal feelings. thanks a bunch:]

as the people who are low risk? People who smoke drive up the costs of everybody's health care expenses! Maybe smokers should be covered on separate policies or be covered at higher rates than the rest of us who do not smoke. And how about people who damage their livers from drinking too much? Why are they allowed to be covered on our insurance plans? Maybe we shouldn't require insurance companies or govt. to pay for "self-induced" conditions resulting from the voluntary abuse of the body such as drug use, smoking, drinking, etc. Do you want YOUR money used to pay for those sorts of expenses?

my step uncle who i haven't seen in about 2 years is dying. he has hepitice c and something else i think, he drinks alot too. just visited with him today, yesterday he lost feeling in his arm for about 4 hours. he was saying that there is a surgy that can be done but could leave him parilized, he doesn't want that so he won't have the surgy done. he lives alone with his 9 year old daughter, who is having a very hard time with the sitution. tonight he just kept sayn that his check out time is coming quick, he is really sick just about every day, i have never really been close with him and didn't know how to act about what he was sayn. i'm scared for him and his daughter. its so hard to talk about death, i don't know what to do or say. i have never known anyone so close to the family that has past away, but he said that god told him its time.
this isn't a question but was wondering if anyone might have some advice or anything. thank you.

Back in Feb. I had a CT scan and I was told that I had several kidney stones, but they were small enough to pass. Eight mths later, I still have the kidney stones. I have been using the filter everytime I go to the bathroom and I havent passed anything. The color of my urine ranges from orange to black. I am in severe pain. I have seen 4 different doctors, one of the doctors told me to take a fluid pill, drink all the water that I could, then go for a long ride on the bumpiest road that I could find and try to jar them out. Another doctor decided that he needed to look at the inside of my bladder with a scope (if you ever get the chance for that one, PASS!!). It was no help he still gave me the same old song & dance they will pass. I have even tryed to find home remedies online but I didnt have any luck there. If anyone has ANY suggestions on how to get them to pass PLEASE let me know. I have had enough this is VERY painful I would really like to just pass them and get it overwith....

I have had dizzy spells for years. They usually happen two or three times a month, while I was pregnant (twice) they happened countless times a day.
I've also had painful numbness(yes, that's possible)/loss of strength out of nowhere for years. It's been getting much worse in my left hand in the past few weeks, to the point where my hand refuses to stay open at times.
And, last but not least, in the past couple of months, almost every time I eat, I get slightly dizzy and nauseated.
anyone have any ideas what could cause these things? (of course, they could all be unrelated)
