You didn't mention his age. If 5 and up, use a bedwetting alarm. Don't bother with alarm clocks, waking him at night or restricting fluids.... Bedwetting alarms are the only cure for bedwetting and will potentially eliminate YEARS of wetting. Read my other answers to bedwetting questions.

If he has sensory issues, consider the recordable Malem bedwetting alarm that allows you to record a voice or other sounds that are more acceptable to him.

Please at least read about the alarms and make your own informed decision. Alot of misinformation is given out here.

I was a bed-wetter till I was 13. My mom used to wake up in the middle of the night to take me to the bathroom. She also had a cut-off period for any kind of liquids. If we were going to bed at 10:00, we weren't allowed to have anything to drink after 9:00. Even if it didn't work all the time, it definitely cut it in half.

try apples. i dont know how old your son is but we had a lot of bedwetters in our family. they urinated until the teens. some is due to weakend bladder, kidney problems, or mental problems. some have went through a trauma in their lives that they subconsciously are afraid and so relaxed at night they dont get up. but i read in this book healthy nutrienal living that if you give a child apples red apples that it would help. my sister ate them a lot yet she still did wet the bed and she is 22. but it helped her for a while.

Most kids grow out of this. Generally related to confidence.
