When you smoke, in the brain there are these little things called neurotransmitters. The main two are dopamine and serotonin, dopamine is what is causes pleasurable feelings, and serotonin is what causes a, lets say, a sad feeling. When you inhale tobacco, it releases dopamine which gives you the pleasurable relaxed feeling. Also because you just began smoking, your brain is not used to it and you can feel slightly dizzy to where you feel as if you need to have a seat. That's basically what happens, but just a little suggestion, now (two days later) is a good time to stop and not make it a habit. Take it from me, I started smoking when I was 12, that was 16 years ago. It's not a good habit, choose wisely.

Why on earth would you want to start smoking? The reason you feel dizzy is because the smoke and nicotine is interferring with the oxygen levels in your brain! Not good! It's very addictive so please don't do it again. My Mom died an agonizing death due to a lfietime of smoking and being unable to quit. She was on a respirator the last 3 mths of her life. See what you have to look forward to? Yep, you're 15 and thinking Blah, BLah, Blah but you won't be young forever and will regret it later in life if you become addicted. Plus who likes to kiss someone with cigarette breath? Yuk!

I watched my Grandfather literally drown from not being able to get the necessary air into his lungs. It is called Emphysema and is a terrifying, long, slow death. Quit while it's still easy. Listen to what your body is warning you-you are inhaling poison in place of air. I hope these thoughts strengthen you if you are tempted to continue at any point in time. "No thanks, I need all the oxygen I can get" is always a good reply. Hang tough, you are so worth it. And that other answer is right on-I don't care if you are drop-dead gorgeous, a man who turns my head will quickly lose all interest when I see him light up.

Yes, because your body isn't getting the oxygen that it is used to, that is why you feel unbalanced. Please, quit smoking Now! I have been smoking for almost 40 years and I have tried to quit, I have tried cold turkey, patches, gum(Nicorette) and etc. and still haven't been able to quit, even tho my doctor tells me my lungs are damaged and if I quit Now then they will heal some. I am starting with emphysema and it's no fun.

I have never smoked a cigarette. But I do know that that is not normal. Do you have asthma? Does your heart race? It may possibly be to stimulating for your body to handle. You may even be allergic. Good Idea quiting. Your health and the health of others thank you for it.

take this advice from a smoker, stop YESTERDAY. the only feeling you are experiencing of note is something NEW to your body. don't let the new feeling become an old habit that your mind becomes dependent upon.

It is normal but, what you are feeling is not relaxation. It's your brain not getting enough oxygen because your lungs are getting carbon monoxide instead of oxygen.
