I went to the doctor for the pain and I thought that it was fluid in my knees, but she never mentioned that. She actually didn't say what it was, she just prescribed physical therapy. I figured that since she's the doctor she knows what she's doing, but know a friend that works in that clinic said that if I feel that the doc didn't make a good judgement that I should get a second opinion elsewhere because they tend to make mistakes there. Now I don't know what to do. It feels wrong to go against doctors order's. I have therapy on the 11th should I just wait and see what the therapist says?

ma m8 is abused not badly but cuts and big marks on her arms and legs it is her parents. i have met her parents and they seem alright but she says different. she has even tried to kill her self and she has started delf harming.

Me and my friend were talking today about soda......

I think the normal stuff is better for you, my mum doesn't like me drinking the diet stuff because she says the artificial sweeteners in it are bad for you and they haven't been tested properly and they might cause cancer.

But my friend says the diet stuff is better because it doesn't rot your teeth and it doesn't make you fat like regular stuff does. But I'm pretty sure my dentist said that diet soda gives you cavities just as much as regular soda - is that true? (mind you, she's never had any and I've had 4)

What one is better for you? I know both of them are bad for you really and we should drink water, but all kids drink soda!

I'm 14 years old, in the UK. Usually if I go to the doctor my mum takes me.

I've got bulimia and I've had it for 2 years and I can't stop it but now I know it's really bad for me and I went to the dentist yesterday and he says my teeth are all rotted from being sick all the time and I need loads of fillings and stuff. And he said if it's done that much damage to my teeth it's probably doing damage inside my body as well and I had to go to the doctor and get checked out.

But I can't tell my mum about it. She always said I was fat and that's why I started making myself sick and she still says I'm fat now sometimes. I don't want her to know about it, but I'm scared that I've done something really bad to my insides and I want to go to the doctor, so can I go by myself? Will he be able to tell my mum if I go?

I got hooked on to the habit of cracking knuckles when in school i had joined the martial arts class.. There they crak everythg jst to make u feel flexible (literally everythg!!)..From then on its been like and addiction for me..Also at times when i dont crack my knuckles for a long time, i get a very big urge to do so, and it feels tht somethg is trapped in my fingers....also many times i crack my knucles unknowningly.....please advice me on any cures..

my daughter was born deaf and about 6 months later we found out she had an unknown disease that was attacking her brain we went to all kinds of different specialist and no one could help. Soon after she would quit breathing and have to be rushed to the hospital. The did biopsy's and surgeries. They kept telling me she didn't have any known disease that they could only treat the symptoms as they appeared. We lost her on april 23rd 2004. I have continued to try and find answers but it seems once she passed away they quit trying to find out why. How do I find the answers?

I had sex with my boyfriend about a month ago, he used a condom but it was the first time we ever had sex and I don't know if we put it on right or if he came out of me quick enough after he came he stayed inside me for a while......

Anyway, I should have started my period 12 days ago and I haven't started yet, I'm usually quite regular, sometimes there's a couple of days difference but it's never been this late. Could I be pregnant even though we used a condom? What can I do? My mum will KILL me if I'm pregnant, I'm only 15. We only had sex once since then and we used a condom and I was going to go to the doctor and ask to go on the pill, but now I'm really scared I might already be pregnant. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
