Hi sweetheart. First of all, well done for realising you have a problem and for wanting to get help. I know you don't want to talk to your mum about this, but if you go to the doctor (which you can do by yourself) he'll probably want you to see a specialist to help you get through this and get better and you'll need your mum or someone else who you trust to go to those appointments with you.
I know it's scary telling your parents things like this, I'm 10 years older than you and I suffered from really bad depression and I was hurting myself a lot. I didn't want my parents to know, but eventually my doctor wanted to put me in hospital and then my housemate decided that my parents needed to know. They were really upset that I hadn't told them before and they didn't react the way I expected at all. So please think about telling your mum or some other adult who you trust because you're going to need a lot of support to get through this. Good luck sweetheart.

Ask the Doctors receptionist if the Dr will see you on your own.
Do you have a fav auntie you can talk to this about? Maybe she can speak to your Mum, with you present, about this. Do you have a school nurse? She can help you. Remember, members of the health profession are bound by an ethics code and should not discuss this without your permission ie the doctor, receptionist & nurses etc.
Above all try to speak to your Mum, yes she might be mad for a day or two, but there will be other challenges in life when you need advice from your Mum so start now.
Best of Luck

I don't live in the UK, so I dont know what your laws are about being minors and parental consent and all, but I just wanted to write and let you know that it is good that you are trying to get help, and please don't listen to people when they say mean things to you. Your mother should know better, but if she tells you that you are fat, she is not being a very good mother.
Even if you are overweight, you can get help and change. Bulimia does irreversible damage to your body. Put your desire to change toward a healthy method like exercise and healthy eating. And talk to your mother about they way it makes you feel when she says things like that to you. Or maybe talk to a counselor at school? There are people who can help you out! Good luck!

Dearly, even if you can go to the doctor yourself, who is going to pay for the bill? Do you have a school dentist in UK. In my country, we have dentist stationed in school for regular check ups.
Now the problem is no longer the fatty issue, it is the decayed teeth that you have to take care of. Just try to tell your mum that the school wants you to go to the dentist for check up. And see how she reacts. No matter how she reacts, make sure you must take care of the decayed teeth soonest possible.
Good Luck to you and with God's blessing I am sure you can pull through this matter.

I believe you can go to the doctor by yourself. Have you got an adult family friend or someone you can trust?? Maybe a girlfriends parent and confide in them. Tell them about why you daren't tell your mum. You need some support.

Yes you can go by yourself, and what ever is discussed between you and your doctor is totally confidential. But it is sad if you cant discuss your problem with your mom. You would be surprised how understanding parents are in times of crisis.

Yes you can go to the doctor by yourself, he also ahs to keep it confidential, however I would advise after seeing the Dr confide in your mother about this, I am sure the Dr will help with this.

Talk, to a teacher that you trust, tell her just what you have said here. What your mother is saying could be classed as abuse.
