I think I might be pregnant.......help!!!!!!?

Question

I had sex with my boyfriend about a month ago, he used a condom but it was the first time we ever had sex and I don't know if we put it on right or if he came out of me quick enough after he came he stayed inside me for a while......

Anyway, I should have started my period 12 days ago and I haven't started yet, I'm usually quite regular, sometimes there's a couple of days difference but it's never been this late. Could I be pregnant even though we used a condom? What can I do? My mum will KILL me if I'm pregnant, I'm only 15. We only had sex once since then and we used a condom and I was going to go to the doctor and ask to go on the pill, but now I'm really scared I might already be pregnant. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Your best bet is to see a doctor or go to a clinic to get a blood pregnancy test done, as this is the most accurate way of testing. Other reasons for abnormal cycles include stress, hormonal imbalance, thyroid, just to name a few. If the pregnancy test comes back negative your doctor can do further testing to determine what the exact cause may be.

Hi, The first thing to do is calm down. Stress can make periods late sometimes. You need to find out if your pregnant. For about £6 you can buy an a pregnancy testing kit from Boots that can tell if your pregnant even if your in the very early stages. Ask the woman behind the counter for help. You can always say it's for a friend. Or you can go to your doctors. He can do the test for you but it can take upto 2 weeks to get the results back. If you are pregnat you will need to see your doctor. He can advise you and tell you all the options. As for your Mum if you are pregnant you will have to tell her. She wont actually kill you but she may shout a bit. It's only because she loves you and she'll feel as though it's her fault because your her little girl.
Pease if your not pregnant go on the pill before you and your boyfriendhave sex again. Also if you ever get in the condom/possible pregnancy situation again if you go to you doctors the next day he can give you the moerning after pill (You can take it up to 72 hours after sex) .

Go to the Dr. and have him do a pregnancy test. If you used a condom then it is very unlikely that you are pregnant. You may just be so stressed out about it that you missed your period. The only way to know for sure is take the test. The ones the Dr. had can detect pregnancy 10 days after your first skipped period.

You don't need your mom to go with you to the Dr. you have the right to privacy so if it is something that your mom will freak out about go it alone that it your right and privilege. It is always a good idea to have an open relationship with your mom.

Go to the store and buy a pregnancy test. Maybe even try to buy a two pack just to be sure. I think chances are no if the condom was used right, but if not you very well could be pregnant. You could also use an ovulation calendar to figure out when you would have been ovulating and compare that to when you think you would have gotten pregnant since I am sure you can figure out the date. You may just be worried and sometimes stress can cause your period to get a little off track.

I would highly reccomend you have your doctor administer a pregnancy test. I used 7 home pregnancy tests that all said negative. So I went to the doc to see why I was so sick. Vioala...I was 2 months along. The home tests advertise 99% accurate...that means there's room for a slip up. If you don't feel comfortable going to the doctor, then try a Planned Parenthood clinic or a local clinic that you may have that is confidential and can help. Continue using condoms and get yourself on the pill asap.

Try to stay calm. I have heard that you can worry so much that your period can be late or you might miss one all together. So there is hope. Just to be sure there are tests you can purchase at the drug store that will give results within minutes (EPT) I believe is a good one and you could take that today.

If you are, you really need to talk with your Mom or an adult that you know and respect. I know if my 15 year daughter became pregnant my first inclination would be to KILL but then I would settle and think of her and the baby she was carrying. But you should do something pretty soon before it is too late to make any choice.

testing is the only way to know

if you are, telling your mom will be hard, but she'll be more upset for you than at you. she knows what its like to be a mom, and will not want you to have to make those sacrifices so early in life. but it happens and it may have happened to you. sit her down and quietly tell her and then the worst will be over. she's not going to throw you out or anything. obviously if you're 15 and have had the freedom to have sex she has a bit to answer for as well. She shouldn't have given you that kind of freedom at 15, no matter how grown up you (or she) thinks you are. and if she did, she certainly should have given you the sex talk. so she'll be upset for you and blame herself, and that will all come out sounding like she's mad at you. You are both to blame, though you more than her, since you are the one that spread your legs...
you can get through it together.
by the way, i am pro-choice, but this is not the type of situation you should go thinking about an abortion for. you've danced the dance and now it may be time to pay the fiddler. even if you can't support a child, you will have your mom there to help.

Once is all it takes...believe me!! You should've made sure your b-friend had some masturbation practice with the condom first. I remember when I first used one....A GIRL WAS NOT IN THE ROOM when I did. I used one by myself and then I knew what to do.

Go buy a home pregnancy test they are like $10. If you find out your not defiantly go to your mom and ask to go to the doc and get on the pill, she would be more happy about you wanting to get on it than keeping sex a secret and getting pregnant. Good luck! Hope your not!!!
