Organ donation is a great idea. More people should consider organ donation as a way of helping others.

I am a big fan of baseball and I remember how Mickey Mantle and his family strongly advocated organ donation. Mantle raised the awareness and need for organ donations.

I believe people should consider others as the greatest gift of faith. By giving to someone an organ, we help with a life. And, that is what religion and faith is all about, helping others.

Great question...

Well i know that a few religions don't allow you to do so. Mine doesn't, yet I personally think that it is a great thing for people to do, i would. think about it this way, If a person is dead and they won't be needing their organs than why not allow the 8 year old child lying in a hospital bed or the older person that desperatelty needs it, to put it to use. Lots of people are dying in hospital beds all over the place waiting for organs from donars, instead enjoying their lives. That itself breaks my heart enough to make me want to donate.
