In the past month I've smoked maybe 4 or 5 times...before that I was a daily smoker for more then 10 years, I weigh around 200 pounds so I know the THC can stay stored in my system longer...I no longer smoke I decided my brain cells were more important and I guess I have just woken up and realized it's not for me anymore. Well I have been looking for a better job and I was wondering what I could do to completly detox my system....I'm not looking for a quick over night thing...I have about 6 weeks for it to work...I just think it would be best to try something....If you have any actual ideas that do work and have worked for you then please let me know. Do you think it will be out of my system in 6 weeks??? Thanks in advance.....BTW...No need for rude comments on I shouldn't have smoked to begin with...I realized that all on my own

i am on Lamictal & I have not had a seizure in 4 years until last night. I had a deep cut on my finger that i thought healed up. It opened & started bleeding (i am not good with blood especially when it is dark.) So I got light headed, blurry vision, my ears started ringing & felt like i was going to pass out so I ran outside to get some air. I did pass out & ended up having a seizure. It lasted less than 1 min, my friend said i was sitting up for part of it & was convulsing. The convulsions were not too intense & I woke up feeling alot better than I have after any of the other 7 seizures i have had in my life.
More details...I got epilepsy 7 years ago in college (maybe hitting my head in basketball or sleep deprivation) most of my seizures are a result of lack of sleep or missing a dosage, this is the 1st seizure that wasnt in the morning. One time the dr was out of novocain and i let him remove a mole & a similar thing happened.
was it seeing the blood?
thanks for reading

I have no idea if these are related at all, or if this is something I should even be worried about. The spot on the back of my head doesn't hurt a lot, and if I think of something else I often forget that it's there. However, it's there every day. The headaches happen less often, but I normally have at least 1 or 2 a week.
This has really been worrying me, and I'm just wondering if someone could tell me what this might be? I'm 18 years old and traveling to Germany tomorrow for 2 weeks. Should I be really worried and go to the doctor while I'm there, or will a trip to the doctor in 2 weeks when I get back be ok? Any help is greatly appreciated...

Well it started on Christmas. I think i over ate because after i was done with dessert my stomach was feeling kinda cramped but i just figured i ate too much whatever. But then the next day i had to use the bathroom constantly i must have been in there about every half hour or hour. Wednesday night i couldnt sleep and i had a headache and stomache cramps and i felt like i needed to throw up but i only burped alot. It pretty much felt like my stomache was being slammed together and someone was trying to cram it together or something. I no longer have the burping or headache but i still have to crap ALOT and i'm really tired of it. It seems like as soon as i eat anything it comes back out a half hour later. Seriously i had a handful or NERDS and about 15 minutes later i was in the bathroom. I have to work tomorrow and i'm hoping it goes away by then because i cant call off & i cant have this. My mom also is having some problems. Can ne one help?

We dealt with a nurse "meanie". She had a very bad attitude with me and my family. My 5 year old son was going to get a shot and he became very upset. He screamed and cried very hard. The nurse lost it because she started to yell at my husband because he couldn't restrain my little boy. I asked her to stop and have another nurse to come and do the job, she just yelled on top of my son's screams, and said she knew her job and she wouldn't go and get another nurse. I got very angry and I just insisted but finally my son got the vaccine. I told the nurse I didn't appreciate the way she treated us, and she was arrogant and wouldn't care. Do you think I should file a complaint for being so rude to my son? Thanks

I graduated from college and started working as an assistant manager at a retail drug store 6 months ago. Since then I have been in the worst health possible. I've gotten the shingles 3 times. The first time was the rash the next 2 times my back was killing me. I've also gotten a cold or flu twice. I understand the cold or flu couldhave been caused by me being around people all day. But how could I get the shingles 3 times? My immune system would have to go down in order to get them. I'm only 22. I was under more stress in college and never had these problems. I haven't been able to see a doctor about this because my current insurance left me with too high bills. I'll be switching to a better insurance on Jan 1. I'm a little impatient so I was wondering what could be causing my immune system to go down? I don't do drugs or anything horrible so don't say I have HIV or AIDS.

I have pretty bad headaches (enough to wake me up) when I'm laying down but I"m fine during the day when I'm up moving around.

I plan to call the doctor when I come back from my trip next week, but I'm curious what it might be in the interim. thanks

i had a cold maybe a month ago.
and i didnt take any medicine really.
i ended up developing strept throat.
and i got the antiobiotics for it.
and it was a weeks worth.
and i finished it maybe a week and a half ago...i think?

but now ive been dizzy for a week. lightheaded/headache...
and my mom said that may be because i have an ear infection

on top of that sometimes my right ear popped and hurts and stuff. and i have a hard time sleeping at night. should i sleep on the ear that hurts or the other ear? ( it doesnt hurt when i sleep or anything ) i just think that may be the cause of why i wake up a lot lately during the night.

also, is there anything to help the ear infection or my dizziness, while i wait for my doctors appointment?

he may have heart problems. he has poor circulation in his legs. he has had chest pains. he just has a lot of medical problems that need to be taken care of, and a main reason he refuses to go to the doctor is because of the cost. our family doesn't make a lot of money, but he really needs to get some help.

I've tried to quit soooo many times before but never succeeded for more than a couple of days. I have a child who I don't smoke around directly but I'm sure must be affected by it passively, I can't actually afford to smoke, and now I've developed a viral infection I find I can't actually breath properly and have been told I may well have asthma which I haven't had for years. Giving up nicotine doesn't seem that hard a thing to do, especially with all the nicotine replacement inhalers and gum etc.

But how do I live without cigarettes? What do I do when I'm stressed? What do I do when I need to take five minutes out to de-stress because my toddler's drawn on the walls? What do I do while I'm waiting for someone to show up?

It's not giving up the drug that bothers me, it's the habit.

Earlier I asked what are medicines coated with to make them easier to swallow: the lone answer was sugar. So, going back to my own resources, I found that pills are not sugar coated. I also found that they are enteric coated. I looked up enteric coated and found that means they are coated so that the pill digests in the intestines not the stomach, and the reason for that is to allow the medicine to be absorbed better into the bloodstream without being broken down by stomach acids (which can lead to heartburn, for example) and sugar is definitely broken down in the stomach. I found nothing to suggest easier swallowing, although an enteric coated aspirin (for example) is easier to swallow than a non-coated aspirin, and nothing on what this stuff actually is. Do you know?

I thump really hard on my sternum with my fist to disrupt the spasm. Sometimes I have to do it more than once to work. I'm beginning to wonder though if doing this long term could cause any damage, and if I should stop? I should also mention I calm anxiety down by holding my breath until my limbs feel tight and I see spots.

For over a week now I have had a horrible fever. At first I thought it would go away with bed rest and liquids and some thermaflu but it didn't. Now It seems to be hit me more in the afternoon (anytime after 3pm) until whenever I wake up. Yesterday it was at 103 degrees. I'll go from really warm fever when i'm sitting or laying to freezing and shaking when I get up for awhile. Its really annoying. I also have a cough but it feels like no flem most of the time and it won't go away either. Any ideas????
