i had a cold maybe a month ago.
and i didnt take any medicine really.
i ended up developing strept throat.
and i got the antiobiotics for it.
and it was a weeks worth.
and i finished it maybe a week and a half ago...i think?

but now ive been dizzy for a week. lightheaded/headache...
and my mom said that may be because i have an ear infection

on top of that sometimes my right ear popped and hurts and stuff. and i have a hard time sleeping at night. should i sleep on the ear that hurts or the other ear? ( it doesnt hurt when i sleep or anything ) i just think that may be the cause of why i wake up a lot lately during the night.

also, is there anything to help the ear infection or my dizziness, while i wait for my doctors appointment?

Antibiotics are great but not so great either they can kill a lot of bad stuff but it also kills a lot of good stuff in your organisim. After taking antibiotics a lot of people have problems such as yours they are always diffrent though some people can have pains in there stomachs or like in your head. Your ear pain shouldn't really have any realationship with the antibiotics theis is probobly just a continuing of your cold. My brother once had a lot of antibiotics for his cold and he had pains in his stomach. Then he went to the doctor and he told us to eat a lot of dairy foods especially yogort. The dairy really helps to re-transform all the good cells in your body(white cells) that the antibiotic killed. Try that it might help but go to the doctor anyways.

Good Luck!

Sounds to me like you may have an ear infection. If you can, use a heating pad and sleep on the ear that is sore. As for the dizziness, get some Dramamine, or any over the counter motion sickness medication to help you out until you can see the doctor. You probably just need a stronger antibiotic.

This certainly sounds like you need to be seen by your doctor ASAP. Call the office and ask if you can have the first available appt/first cancellation and then stay by the phone - usually they will get you in very quickly. Trick is being 'on call' for a cancelled appt

Get your mom to take you to the doctor.

1 week on antibiotics is not long enough to knock any bug out (unless it was a Z-pack).
