VERY randomly, my girlfriend gets dizzy enough that she has to lie down and basically bury her head into her pillow for a few minutes. She's been to the doctor twice about it. The first time, they thought it was an ear infection, so they prescribed some medication, but it happened again. The second time, they thought it was when she hadn't eaten enough and her blood sugar was low, but sometiems she gets dizzy right after eating as well. We thought maybe it had to do with her menstral cycle, but that didn't seem to fit either. To be honest, we have no idea why it happens, and it happens so randomly that it's completely unpredictable. She'll get really dizzy all of a sudden and lie down for a few minutes. It seems to go away after a couple minutes, but then she's left kind of light headed with a minor headache. Has anyone else had this same problem or heard of it?

I have a mysterious bruise (?) on my upper, inner thigh. It's bright blue, black, and even reddish. Very strange. Wasn't hit, didn't fall, don't really know how it got there. It's quite painful, almost hot and looks more like a welt than a bruise...there's some swelling, I guess. I tried to find picures of a blood clot in the leg to compare, but no such luck. I don't want to be an alarmist, take a day off work and go see a doctor if I don't have to. Any ideas? Thanks!

I have a severe pain in my upper right side, I was in the hospital for it. They said that the CT scan showed a thickening of the intestines, but that that's not uncommon and 9 out of 10 times the colonoscopy shows nothing. Could my IBS be causing this pain? I am in my early 20's and don't want a colonoscopy. I'm really worried about the pain, it's affecting my job, and life in general. Any advice? Also I was prescribed bentyl to see if it would help, anyone else on this, how long does it take to adjust to it? I'm constantly tired and don't feel "right" ? thanks!
