My son woke up 1 day w/ tiny bumps on his face. He's 2 1/2 yrs old. They look like milk bumps that baby gets when there infants on there face. But he also has them on his back. Almost like goose bumps.

Must have been a goose attack. That oversized avian beast laid down a beating of a lifetime upon your son's back. The only cure, a 30-pk of Natty Lite and a 12 guage. Good luck and happy hunting.

Have you changed any of his medicines, or any food allergies, and also detergent with the clothes? If there is any slight change in anything, he could be getting an allergic reaction to it, but take him to a pediatrician soon before it get's too serious.....wishing you the best!

It could be chicken pox...you did not mention if he's itchy.
It could also be the laundry detergent you use. He may be allergic to it. I would take him to a Pediatrician to figure this one out. There are so many rashes...the Pedi Docs should know.

chicken pox?

My son has had since birth some sort of acne. Could it be acne? Maybe not if they suddenly came up. Could he have been exposed to something? Poison Ivy? Insect bites?

Possibly chicken pox - does he have a temperature. Suggest to call pediatrician immediately.

My best guess is chicken pox, especially if they appeared overnight. I've heard there's a shot out there now to immunize people against chicken pox, if your boy hasn't gotten that shot...then that's probably it.
