I'm not sure what you mean by "the cause of." To me, that implies knowing if the person had been beaten senseless one time too many or had been in a car accident or was born with some amount of oxygen deprivation or hormonal imbalances.
These things (learning disabilities) become obvious at some point in life if the person ever attempts to work or go to college, and by then not too many people, save compassionate ones or maybe counselors, would even care "what" as much as they would simply view the person as one more trying to do good for themselves the best they know how. The only other people who might care "what" are ones who are afraid of investing money in an employee who might not fit their bill. That is wrong, actually, because there are plenty of people who do not have learning disabilities who do what they can to avoid doing their jobs at all!
Two advantages to knowing a person HAS a learning disability are: they can receive help when they need it and much anxiety can be averted; any other advantages are related to the first.
Two disadvantages would be: some people would find it easier to discriminate against someone with a learning disability, especially if they knew the cause. They could make assumptions based upon the information and then try to keep a disabled person out of certain roles, even if the person is proving fit for those. I really can't think of the second disadvantage yet, other than some people might think the one with the disability expects "more" help or pity or something when they don't.

I deal with this a great deal being a special education teacher. The advantages are that you find the root of the LD - which is some type of processing weakness to be able to teach a child to work around it/overcome it. The other advantage is that a child can receive services if identified. The advantages are that kids are labeled and feel a stigma with being in special ed. Also, teachers may limit their abilities because they are "disabled".

i'm uncertain what you recommend by way of "the reason at the back of." To me, which ability expertise if the guy have been overwhelmed senseless one time too many or have been in a motor vehicle twist of destiny or exchange into born with some volume of oxygen deprivation or hormonal imbalances. those subject concerns (attending to entice close disabilities) exchange into obtrusive in some unspecified time contained faster or later in life if the guy ever tries to paintings or bypass to college, and by way of then not too many human beings, save compassionate ones or in keeping with risk counselors, might even care "what" as much as they might basically view the guy as one greater attempting to do solid for themselves the significant appropriate they be attentive to how. the only diverse people who might care "what" are ones who're demanding of starting to be an investment earnings an worker who might no in good shape their invoice. it fairly is incorrect, quite, by ability of making use of actuality there are lots of people who don't have attending to entice close disabilities who do what they might to steer far off from doing their jobs in any understand! 2 reward to expertise a guy or woman HAS a attending to entice close disability are: they might get carry of help whilst they pick it and plenty stress may be prevented; the different reward are on the subject rely of the 1st. 2 risks may be: some human beings might hit upon it greater straightforward to discriminate against somebody with a attending to entice close disability, fairly in the event that they knew the reason. they could make assumptions based upon the concepts and then attempt to maintain a disabled guy or woman out of particular roles, no rely if the guy is proving in good shape for those. i myself won't have the skill to think of of of the 2d downside yet, diverse than some human beings might think of of the single with the disability expects "greater" help or pity or something whilst they don't.
