have both of them vanished or is it just OLD news not worth writing or talking about?

Both are still out there and have been kept out of the human population through a combination of dumb luck and hard work. There are people and agencies working very hard so that you will not fall victim to either disease. You should be thankful that your tax dollars are being spent wisely in this regard.

Yeah, the media seems to have a new disease they like to freak everyone out about every year or two.
Remember when ebola virus (that flesh eating one) was what was always on the news? It hasn't gone away, it just doesn't get the media coverage anymore.
I think news shows just keep having to move on to the next "cool" disease to keep ratings up.

yeah. WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!! OH MY GOD!!! maybe this week the media is focusing on one of the millions of other ways they say the world is going to end.

OLD NEWS.....at least in Africa.....no one died of any of those diseases in africa....THANK GOD..........
