for the first time as well as orally. I have used protection since then but have preformed oral sex on her since then too. She NOW informs me that she has herpes! I cant go to the Dr. til Monday, and its been two weeks? What are the odds of NOT getting it. Im stupid I know but will have to wait til Monday. Any hope? Please???

Well its been a week and some odd days since I last had sex...it was my first time for a year...and know Ive been havin htis weired feeling in my vigina... and it hurts to touch there (first day to two days it was) Ive had it for liek 4 days know...The symptoms are


-Burning and Iching around the clitoris area and on the lips
-Redness and Dryness

But I read about Yeast Infection and it says that symptoms are those two and discharge but I am not having the discharge...I am 18 years old...and I cant see my doctor...cause my doctor will tell my mother...and I do not have any money to see a different doctor...And the guy who I had sex with said that he doesnt have anything....He got tested 23 weeks ago....But I believe that is a lie...He wont talk to me anymore...Please does this sound like Yeast Infection and how can I treat it?....

What causes slightly swollen lymph nodes around the neck? I have tested for common viruses particularly HIV. The testing has been over two year with resoundingly negative results. Don't mean to be a hypochondriach, but I think HSV or HPV, which I relatively commonplace, do not mnifest themselves in this manner. Does anyone know what the possible causes might be?

I have been with my boyfriend for a year now, but we haven't had actual sexual intercourse yet. We have done sexual activities, but not sex. My boyfriend and are still virgins, but my mother insists on me recieving the Gardsil injection. I wanted to know if its still possible for me to have the HPV infection. Thanks!

It seems if it is tramsitted by men to women, then an easy solution would be that all men get a shot when they are younger (right at puberty) and be done with it.

She has herpes. No breakout right now. Her ex-boyfriend and her had unprotected sex for 6 months and he never got it. I rubbed my penis all over her vagina, but never had sex with her, or came near her vagina.

I'm still really paranoid and would like some reassurance here.

I work at a University and our student assistant said there's a rumor going around that some of the University's bathroom toilet seats are infected with HPV. She said rumor had it that girls who are virgins now have HPV.
Is this even possible?
Is there a way to pass HPV other than sexual contact?
