Yes, a lot of people have STDs and they dont even know it because they have no symptoms. You should get tested for STDs, HIV/AIDS, anything like that.

YES YES YES! You should. Ask your doctor specifically. So many STDs are asymptomatic.

HIV can lay dormant for years.

Only 1% of people show symptoms of HPV, and 75% of Americans are infected with it in their lifetimes.

You could be in the chronic persistent stage of hepititis, which is mostly asymptomatic or only mild symptoms.

4/5 women with gonorrhea are asymptomatic, and men can be asymptomatic too.

The majority of men and women with chlamydia show no symptoms.

Syphilis in the latent stage has no signs or symptoms but can result in ulcers, cardiovalscular complications, and death.

You can be tested for all of them if you want. Just talk to your doctor about being tested, and they will do the tests. They aren't all done the same way, so it could be a long process getting tested for them. But if you are concerned about it, call.

Go to the Clinic or consult with your doctor about what STDs test you should perform. HIV, HSV, syphilis, HPV, etc.

Yes, you should be able to. If your doctor won't do it at you request, you need a new doctor. But any doctor should, to help you make certain you are okay. After all, if they didn't, and you weren't, then they could be liable.
