for the first time as well as orally. I have used protection since then but have preformed oral sex on her since then too. She NOW informs me that she has herpes! I cant go to the Dr. til Monday, and its been two weeks? What are the odds of NOT getting it. Im stupid I know but will have to wait til Monday. Any hope? Please???

Is your gf taking any meds to control the herpes, like Valtrex or Zovirax? if yes, these types of meds help controling the re-occurance of the sores (when the sores are visible she is highly infectious).
You will not know if you got it until you see the sores and that could take weeks. My best advice that I could give you is to use condoms and dental dams for oral sex.
FYI, there's two types of Herpes, type I (simplex) sores in mouth due to oral sex is the most common; and type II (complex) below waist. Condoms will not protect you if the sore is outside of the condom area.
Your local health department can treat any type of STD or HIV for free or very low cost for those without health insurance or do not want to go thru their primary doctor for stuff like this.

Unfortunately unless you have an outbreak your doctor will not be able to tell you if you have contracted herpes or not. It used to be believed that herpes was only contagious when the person was having an outbreak. Now it's believed that at least 70 percent of the people who have it got it from a partner who had it and was not having an outbreak. This is a terrible thing she has done and I hope you have broken it off with her. She obviously cares more for herself than she does for your health. I am sorry that you have to go through this worry. I hope that everything turns out alright for you.

You probably dont have herpes unless you are broken out, but then you may have, so calm down. Lots of hope.

If you dont see anything I wouldent go, this may seem jacked up but.... better to not know then know, cuz if you have it without ever having symptoms u should be good to go.
