Pregnancy is unlikely, but not impossible - some of the sperm might drip out and run along the girl's skin and end up getting into her vagina. Remember, it doesn't take much - in principle, a single sperm will do.
STD, yes, definitely. The skin back there is a mucous membrane, just like in the vagina, and since tiny injuries are even more likely with this method than the other, the chance of becoming infected with an STD are at least as high, if not higher, than for vaginal intercourse. (With some STDs, the same is true for oral sex, btw.)

no you cannot get pregnant through anal sex, but you can most definately get an STD. I would also like to add that your "friend" is really immature and I hope this friend of yours isn't planning on having ANY kind of sex because if you have to ask questions like these, then you have no business having sex of any kind. by the way...if you are having anal sex and the semen happens to find it's way into the vagina, then there is a BIG possibility that she could get pregnant.

As long as the man does not get pre-ejaculate or ejaculate in the vagina the girl will not get pregant. STD's are transmitted by bodily fluid and anal sex can result in getting an STD if the partner has an STD.

You can not get pregnant during anal sex. You can get an STD. Any form of sex leaves you for a chance of catching an STD.

It is unlikely that she will get pregnant from anal sex unless he ejaculates near her vagina, there is however, a huge risk of STDs, especially AIDS.

Yes and yes, if sperm travels, and yes it can "travel" into the vagina, even though it wasnt ment to a girl can get pregnant, and yes you can get an std so wear a condom.
