I still can't figure it out. My 13 year old son has the dryest skin on his entire body, and I went to a dermontologist and she said he just needs to keep lotion on his body. I got him this new nivea body lotion which is very thick and I told him he must use it on his entire body after his bath. I slather his back down since he cant get to it and his back has improved, but the rest of his body is still the same very rough.

I found that the lotion bottle is still almost full and he says he uses it but he does not. one day I caught him pumping the lotion into the toilet and that day I SLATHERED his body with lotion after his bath that day to give him a message this is what it will be like.

I asked him if he wanted to go to the store and pick his own lotion, but he said no, and I also said that girls dont like guys with bad skin. I tried almost everything, what am i supposed to do!?

and his dry skin is too bad to be ignored!

i'm considering taking either roaccutane or diane-35 for my acne condition. i understand that roaccutane might cause liver implications, and users often get dry skin.

what abt diane-35? give me your reviews, and whether it works for creating nicer skin! =)

I dont know if they are ingrown hairs or shaving bumps. It resembles like pimples on the side of my face. And there's like alot of small bumps. I seriously dont know what happened. My face wasnt like this like a few months ago. By the way Im Asian and Im 17.

Anyway, what happened was a few months back, i tried shaving the side of my face for the first time. And I used Nivea's Multi-Protecting Balm aftershave for the first time as well. Thought it would help me to prevent ingrown hair and shaving bump but it seems like my face are getting MORE of those. So is my skin sensitive to the product? I dont know if the after-shave is alcohol free or not. So should I get alcohol free after-shave in the future? I stopped shaving by the way because Im afraid of getting more bumps.

Should I visit a men beauty salon or see a dermatologist? And I dont wanna keep going back for like 10 treatments or something. Or is there any cream you guys know of I could get hold of to help solve my problem?

i have these bumps on my chin.. they are not pimples or white heads or blackheads. they are like bumps under the skin and i can pop them but everytime i pop them they come back. i have had them for years and no matter what i try they just dont go away. even going to the derm. all they do is pop them. i just want to get rid of them.. please help!!!

Ok so ever since i was born ive had this birthmark that covers my left eye, like it actually seems like if someone punched me or i got badly beat up or something like that, it looks like a black eye, I really want to remove it im 15 and ive really suffered alot, I mean some people tell me i should not be ashamed of my birthmark but they dont know what its like, everyday people make fun of me and say who beat me up, teachers and even cops ask who punched me and it hurts my heart, i mean i dont like, there is even this one guy who everytime he sees me he tells me i got punched and it hurts i really want to get rid of it im tired of this, please does anyone know how i can remove it? Thank you!?

k i use this stuff called acne free. it's not very widley known but it works. i am allergic to sasylic acid which is in most ance products. and if your like me then you don't have to worry acne free doesn't have a trace of sasylic acid anywhere. it's like proactive but you get at Walgreen's for like $20.00. It has 3 steps, the cleanser, puryfier, and repair lotion. this works for me and hopefully it will work for you!

Okay, i started getting this rash a couple years ago when i wore a belt the metal part irritated my skin. I was prescribed elocon but now I dont have insurance.Now lately the rash (if its even the same thing) is on not just that spot but the sides of my stomach too and my arm.It itches the most when i get out of the shower or sweat.Its the most awful itch you can imagine.hydrocortisone definetly does not work and of course ive tried to limit metal contact with my skin. if you have any info or suffer from the same PLEASE help. i would greatly appreciate it.

It's quite large, but I've had it for more than two years. Lately, I notice certain attributes which I don't think were there before: the appearance of two small darker portions on one side, the appearance and disappearance of tiny dark dots that come and go in and around the mole. I've talked to general doctors unofficially about it, and one of them even checked it up close with a flash light; they all told me I have nothing to worry about. Even though, I'm not convinced. Yet I really would like to know if it's the best choice to get a biopsy made, since it's a pretty big mole.

Does anyone get an alergy/iritation from wearing gold rings.
I am unable to wear my wedding & engagement rings due to my fingers getting very red, blistery & swollen.
Any ideas on how I can overcome this problem would be most appreciated as my husband (although understanding) would really like to have me wearing them.

I have been having BHA peels which has dried out my acne but I still have the clogged pores... resulting in tiny little bumps around my chin area.
My beauty therapist recommended getting an hr of full on microdermabrasion next since my skin has dried out resulting in now acne scars and the clogged pores.
Will micro get rid of the clogged pores... as I hate having a bumpy face.

Please NO nasty remarks. The palms of my hands are, from time to time, very, very red in the mornings, when I first get up. The back of my hands have some splotchy redness to them too. Does anyone have any idea of what this is? No rude answers PLEASE!!
