When I was in high school, which was like about seven years ago, I told my mother about the frequent headaches I was having. Blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, severe throbbing headaches, blackouts, sensitivity to light and sound, all that fun stuff. She took me to the doctor and they took a scan. They told us that I had a mass in my head. It may be cancerous. They waited a week while putting me on steriods to null the pain, I guess...just made me look like a human ballon. and so the week went by and they did another scan. They told us that it didn't look like a tumor and it was just a mass in my head (the size of a softball) that hadn't formed all the way at birth. I still continue to get these frequent headaches, now with more blurred vision. So, the question is, should I get a different opinion???

hello,
I am23 years old, 5.4, weigh 109. eat pretty well. no fast food, no sodas no serious medical conditions that I am aware of. however my legs get numb rather quickly. If I'm sitting with my legs crossed or sitting with my legs hanging, without touching the floor they get numb real quick.
any ideas??

I notice that I have to urine almost every three to two hrs. And if i drink a lot water, every 1hr to 2hr. Do i have a bladder problem? I do not drink that a lot, i try not to drink so much

I am seeing 2 differant doctors, one is my Medical Dr. who treats me for a Chronic Back Problem, and also prescribes me Xanax for an anxiety Disorder. I also see a Pscychiatrist for Bipolar Disorder and Extreme Anxiety. Today I saw my Medical Dr. regarding medication for my back, I also told him I was being treated by a Pscychiatrist. He contacted my Pscychiatrist to see what he was prescribing me, WITHOUT my consent!!! When my Medical Dr. found out I was being treated for Anxiety by my Pscychiatrist also, he refused me further treatment for my Back Pain, stateing that my Pscychiatrist should be handling ALL my medication!! I did not think one went to a Pscychiatrist for a "medical" problem!!! And I also feel my rights were violated by my 2 doctors for discussing my prescribed medications WITHOUT my consent!!! Aren't there "Doctor-Patient" Privacy laws?? I do not feel like any of my Doctor's have the right to discuss my treatments (medications) with ANYONE including another Doctor???

ct scan reveals kidney stones and collapsed gallbladder, i am weak, hurting under my rib and my skin is itching on my stomach. i cannot move my biles waht is going on and why would an insurance co refuse to pay for just removing the gall bladder instead of running so many tests.

i have a collapsed gallbladder and i am having a hida scan, i have had 3 ct scans which show a collapsed gallbladder . i was told that i have polyps on my gallbladder do you think that someone will soon remove this thing. i hurt lost 9 lbs in 2 weeks and my stomach itches the pain is located under my my right rib.

as seen on a ct scan why wouldn't the dr. remove it instead of just sending mefor a hida scan i am itching on my stomach and have some pain nausea and loss of appitite and exhaustion.

My best friend was very recently told she has non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and that there is nothing that can be done. She is in her early 30's with 2 young girls. The doctor told her to do "alot of video-taping". Essentially, she feels fine, but doesnt know how long she has. Is there NO treatment for this? We live in Southern California with some of the best medical universities and hospitals. Is there nothing that can be done? Im angry! What should I do?

I have a friend who suffers from Raynaud's Syndrome/Disease and I was wondering if anyone has any information on the best kind of gloves to buy for her. My boyfriend checks every time he reverses if he has run anyone over, he also cecks if his telephone is dialing out, if taps are dripping and if there is dirt on his clean clothes! I believe he is showing signs of OCD but need help on how to over comes these habits. He recently went under open heart surgery and I believe these habits might have stemmed from the anxiety of that but now need to know how to overcome them. Your help is much appreciated.

I have continuees back and legs pain with tingilng and numbness. I am takeing Vicoden with litle releif, my Doctor put me on a gluten free diet three weeks ago and still not much difference in the pain.
Does anyone know how long it usealy takes to notice an improvement useing the gluten free diet?
I will pick a best answer s anyone who knows anything about this pease respond.

My mom has this thing where when she swallows food, especially meat, and its not too large of a piece...it gets stuck, it wont transfer from her esophagus into her stomach. she spends on average an hour trying to get her food to go down. It doesnt happen all the time, it goes in spurts. what is causing this and how can she make it stop?

For a week now, I have not been able to eat much at all. I usually eat something small a day, like a bowl of cereal. Sometimes, I cannot even eat that! As for water, I am always getting thirsty and have a dry mouth, but water tastes horrible now, and I still feel like throwing up even if I drink that. I have not been to the point where I have actually thrown up, but the feeling is greatly there. I, honestly did overdose with Tylenol-500mg. I took 15 of them. Do you think that has something to do with it? I only lost about 7 pounds in the first few days, but have been at a constant weight every since. Any thoughts? Thank you.

I need help!!! Im addicted to pain killers and I want to stop but I want to try my best not to have the gravings. I started taking pills about 2 years ago after having a baby. The pills gave me energy that I didnt have after having the baby. I kept taking them and now it is to the point where I HAVE to have them. I really want to quit but I'm afraid of the gravings. I have 3 kids and I really want to stop. That is all I spend my money on every week and it has gotten out of controll. So please if anyone nos how to quit without having bad gavings I'm up for anything to try. I really want to quit more then anything. I dont want go to a rehab center cause I have 3 kids and my family dont no of this addiction and I dont want tem to find out. So please if anyone has any advice I would love to hear it.

so basically,for the past 3 weeks ive been sick.first week i had tonsilitis and was all better..two days later i got a really bad stomach ache and for that week i wasnt able to eat much cause i had no appetite.and then i was better and was on the go for 2 days.than i got sick again.my symptoms as of now are:nauseas week,cant sleep,upset stomach and loss of appetite.
this past week and a half i have been worrying to death that i have a brain tumor and have been sleeping very little.
i have been to the ER cause i thought i was dying.they ran some blood test and other stuff and it was all good.i asked a numerous amount of doctors if they thought i had a brain tumor and they laughed and said they were almost positive.i think they are idiots.what can this be?
by the way im 18 and a male
