I have OCD and constantly repeat myself just to hear myself talk and think. My OCD is a nervous disorder somewhat related to tourettes. My doctors have stated that there is a relationship between the two. If you have OCD... tell your significant other about it immediately and what your compulsives are... It will save much arguing later on.

OCD. I'm down with it. It's when you think about certain things very intently to avoid your feelings. You imagine that the focus of your attention will make you feel the way you want to feel. After a while you start to believe this and you act, thinking the action will get you relief. This is the compulsion. It does, temporarily. And you go back to thinking. Because the action didn't really alleviate the feeling. You just thought it would.
The severity of this depends on the person. Every person walking the planet probably experiences this at some point in time. It's just when it dominates your life is when it becomes a disorder.

Its difficult. I have a mild case. For example: what you do on the other side of your body you must also do on one side. When you climb stairs, sometimes you have to skip steps for yur bran tells you to. And you also have to align things into perfect symetry. Its like a 'fear of the unknown' In severe cases, you might end up cleaning your own house till you just stumble out of tiredness.

I do, Not bad though. It gets worse with lack of sleep and emotional turmoil.

I just don't like dirt on my hands and certain things bother me. I also don't like other people touching my water glass.

Mine's very minor.

I do. I have to say a prayer several times a day or I think that God will be angry with me and something bad will happen. It's tiresome and I know that he won't be angry and nothing will happen, but I just can't help it.
