It sounds like you simply have poor circulation. This is not uncommon by any means at any age. There isn't much that can be done about poor circulation except for making sure that you are eating heart-healthy foods that will increase the functionability of your heart. This will help your heart pump oxygen through the blood more effeciently and your legs won't get numb so easily. Many times though, poor circulation is just something that must be dealt with. If eating heart-healthy isn't working for you, then make sure you don't sit in ways that make your legs go numb. This will keep your legs stronger for the future.
When you're legs are hanging, they aren't getting proper circulation because dangling causes blood to drain to the bottom, and the oxygen is deprived from the other parts of the legs.
If you don't generally have problems with other parts of your body, or have cold feet constantly, then perhaps the way you sit is the only problem. Experiment, see if your legs go numb when you're sitting properly in a chair with your feet touching the ground for a certain amount of time, then with your legs dangling for the same amount of time.
If your legs don't go numb from sitting properly, then you just need to keep your legs from dangling. If they do, then your circulation is most likely just poor and you should take the suggested actions.
Hopefully this was a helpful post.

I've been having plenty of numbness in my legs from my knees right down to my feet. Mostly whilst I'm sitting in a single role for a even as. I believe it is beautiful ordinary simply attempt to preserve your legs expanded.

Sounds like you're healthy but might be born with weak circulation. Do you get dizzy or light-headed when you stand up? Are any parts of your body generally colder than the rest? You should probably get a professional opinion from a cardiologist. That way you don't have to wonder.

If they feel cold as well, chances are you have poor circulation. This could be for a variety of reasons (varying in significance), but to be safe you should consider booking an appointment with your family physician.

Do either sides of you face or fingers go numb? Probably just poor circulation if that is your only symptom.

I do not want to alarm you. Numbness is one symptom of multiple sclerosis, which I have. However, you only get it when you cut off your circulation, so it's probably just a result of that -- so why don't you just stop doing it?

Doesn't that happen to everybody? If you have your legs in a position for a while they get numb. It even happens to your hands and arms sometimes :)
