I've been on Z-Pack for 5 days and am out of it (zithromycin). My tonsils are still swollen and red and its hard to swallow. Is there any other relief for swollen tonsils besides salt water? Would ibuprophen work since its an anti-inflammatory? I've had swollen tonsils and a sore throat for 6 days now and its really getting annoying!!!

It's widely believed that Chronic Bacterial Prostatitis can't be cured 100% and that the symptoms arise after a period once the therapy is completed.

I know this is kind of stupid, but okay I was fixing this thing at my house and my hand slipped and a nail went underneath my finger nail. It cut the skin a little and ripped/broke my nail a little also, it also looks like a little piece might be stuck underneath my fingernail. I'm not completely positive that it was nail, it might have been a piece of wood but chances are it was probably a nail if it broke my actual finger nail. I am 22 and got my last tetanus shot when I was 12. So it has been 10 years. I don't want to go to the doctor if it is something minor and the cut is very minor it actually doesn't even hurt, but what I'm concerned about is the piece of something stuck under my nail. If anyone knows anything about tetanus, wounds, and tetanus shots, can you please let me know what is suggested, should I still go to the doctor and get it checked out or should I just let it go and not worry about it and watch for symptoms, also what would you do? Thank you so much!

When I was a child our parents would make blended drinks with raw eggs in them for the protein and nutrients. Now there's the Salmonella risk of course. I'm not so much interested in what happened to the "good" eggs, but, rather, are there eggs you can still find/buy that are safe? And where does one get them? Thanks, David Wilson.

An avian flue is not a new disease in the world. It is a zooneses that has re-emerge after being present in the world over several decades. But now all the world attention has been turned towards it as something very strange and a lot of money is invested in trying to find the effective vaccine, and probably later a vaccine will be developed and put in the market and all people will be required to be vaccinated as a measure to combart this disease. But what happened before, what is happening now without such a vaccine?

The disease was just an epidemic (to human beings) in certain parts of china and later to some few countries in asia. What about other parts of the world? In europe, africa and america has remain to be disease of birds and are the only one reported dead in these areas. So what do you think?
