Yes, it's scary. What are you going to do about it though? Some native birds that are not in captivity have been found to have the bird flu virus in their droppings but do not get the disease. Why? Because they eat foods that are natural to them, not hormone fortified or all doctored up.
This is a classic grasshopper and ant story. We need to today start building our immune systems in order to be prepared for whatever comes along, bird flu or otherwise. Waiting until it's here may be too late.
Start eating organic foods and taking antioxidants. Lacctoferrin, an antiviral, antibacterial and anticancer, made from cow's milk has been getting some good reviews. Another is a product called Immunity that is 14 strains of mushrooms that increase NK and T1 cells. T1 cells tag suspecting bad cells and NK, natural killer, cells kill them. http://www.yourwellnesshome.net/biodirectednutrition.html

The only people who need to worry about the bird flu are either very young children or very old people.

No not really because i think sooner or later someone smart will find a way to cure it or get rid of it all together now that may sound unlikely but i think it's possible. Don't forget there's always someone out there that's scared too (my sister for one) so just don't think about it.

You bet. If it mutates to a form that can be transmitted as an airborne agent, we are in deep trouble. It is deadly within about 72 hours and with today's international network of travel it would spread like wildfire.

I'm not too concerned. I eat chicken and I'm still here. And thanks to the bird flu, my grandma got like 80 lbs of chicken legs for like 3 dollars!!

Yeah it does, a lot of people involve their lives around chicken, think of all the business that'll probably shut down, Popeyes, Church's and KFC, and that's my favorite food, and they don't have vaccines for it, medicine to help, but no vaccines, it will cause lots of communtion if it's moves to North America, I wouldn't be able to bear it!

No, I don't eat animals. Animals who serve us (especially horses) who are sent to a cruel and brutal place, the slaughter house. I have seen horses there. They are tagged at the feedlot and shipped on the "kill truck". They are then used for dog food, and food on over-sea's plates. It saddens me deeply, DON'T EAT MEAT! SAVE AN ANIMAL!
