Well, there are various cures for a yeast infection.
Better to start with what a yeast infection is:
Your body naturally has both bacteria and yeast growing in and on it. Those two fight for resources to live off of. Normally, they hold each other in check and a harmonious balance.
When something causes the bacteria to die off (antibiotics, for one) then the yeast take over in their place. If those yeast levels get too high, it causes an infection.
So, the way to get rid of a yeast infection is to restore the balance. You may have to wait until you are off antibiotics. Hormone levels may contribute. Some spermicidal lubricated condoms do that. See a doctor.

You should see a doc for a first time diagnosis, could also be chlamydia or a host of other infections....he will prescribe the correct treatment.
If you have had them before then you should know the treatment.there are many OTC treatments available, myconazole for one.
There are also some home remedies that some people use, anything with active cultures(buttermilk,yogurt-plain that is) can be applied too,and eating yogurt regularly can help prevent recurring yeast infections.
Oh and dont douche..it will make worse it removes the natural bacteria that prevents yeast overgrowth.

You can go to a drugstore and buy Monistat or another type of yeast infection cream. They have one that you can take in a day and its gone. Buy if it's itching on the outside, you need to consult with your Doctor, something may be wrong.

apart from canesten cream and tablets, I have heard that foodprocessing a a cabbage in a blender and drinking it helps.
Also to take the itch away you can rub on natural yoghurt.
Not had to try them, and I wouldn't go out with the yoghurt on. Won't take long to start smelling

First, the diagnosis must be made by culture of slide test. There several antifungal medications on the market by prescription such as Lotromin. Let your doctor prescribe his favorite.
