I had melanoma removed from my arm last week and went into the doctor today to have a follow up and he removed two more moles (one on back and the other on stomache) that look supieous. Is it possible that I can have melanoma in these areas as well?

My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer about 2 months ago, we found it had spread to his lymph nodes and also to his bones so the chances of survival are slim. He is having chemo but today he i found out he needs early blood transfusions and he is refusing his medication...could this be a sign things are worsening significantly?? I am just look for people's opinions as i do not live close by to my dad and dont speak to his doctor and am having problems finding info online....please help with suggestions of meanings and possible survival time...thanks in advance

My daughter had some strange lab results- including elevated platelet counts and deteriorating red blood cells. She also fights fevers and chills a lot and is always tired. She has a slight rash that looks like little red bumps all over her body and we're being referred to a hematologist. The doctor who last saw her wouldn't tell me exactly what he thought, but he acted very somber about it all. I'm afraid it's leukemia. She's also extremely pale.
Does anyone know other sighs to watch for or have any other ideas of what this may be? Please pray for my baby girl..

About three weeks ago, I noticed a hard, round, lump near the center of my chest where the clavicle meets the sternum. It's about 2cm+ in diameter, has a smooth surface, seems to be oval in shape (almost round like a circle), is painless, and is not moveable.

It's in an awkward position: half on the actual clavicle bone and half below it. It is very close to the center of my chest, but a little bit to the right. There is no similar lump anywhere else.

About a month ago, I noticed a pain there, but there was no lump there at the time.

Within the past three weeks, it has not grown nor shrunken.

My doctor checked it out and he's not too concerned about it. He thinks that it may be inflammation turned hard and painless. An x-ray revealed nothing.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this may be?

You made some soup and used one pound of spice instead of one pinch by mistake. Your relative with terminal cancer that has come to live with you has some of the soup and is cured. Do you tell your Doctor, radio, TV, newspaper, friends? Will everyone think you’re a crackpot? Do you stay quiet and happy that you cured your loved one?

What does the doctor due during the full body scan? Does he remove any more moles that look like they can be melanoma? I just had surgery done two weeks ago on my arm to remove the melanoma and upon removing the stiches the doctor will due the scan. I am just worried that there will be more affected areas. I had a mole removed last year and it came back recently. Can that be another spot of melanoma?
