can cosmetic surgery rebuild a breast on a 50 yo woman who lost it to cancer 20 yrs ago? and aprox how much would this cost? A few weeks ago, I heard a news story on the radio talking about some Canadian researchers who had found what they claimed to be a "cure for most cancers". They also claimed that it was cheap and easy to produce. Does anyone have any further information on this, and based on their approximate timeline, how long would it take this drug to be legally available in the US?

PS I do not have cancer, I'm just curious.

I am wondering approximately how long it takes to get results after a CT scan, and if the results from that can actually diagnos cancer. A family member is undergoing a lot of tests and an ultrasound found a mass on his liver. He already had a CT scan scheduled because of blood in his urine (no pain or fever associated with the blood) on the advice of his urologist. Now they want to include the liver area in the scan. Thanks!

I came back and went to the toilet, and started bleeding dark blood from my bowel very heavily with loads a diarea. Why was that?Does this mean I can't go for my 40-50 minute runs. My mother who is a registered Nurse said that my body is shuting down that is why I bleed so much from my bowel yesterday when I came back from my run.I as told I had bowel cancer not long ago, which was a shock. What will happen is I start running again, as I want to get fit and healtly, and loses a bit of weight, as I love running and always have.

I am doing some research for a friend of mine who was just recently diagnosed with Prostrate Cancer. He has seen a doctor and has been given the option of Seed implantation, Cryotherapy, or surgery. He does not want surgery right now. And the doctor is ok with that as long as he does not wait too long.
Has anyone gone through Seed implantation or Cryotherapy that can offer their experience or advice. Anything would be very helpful right now.

TSH is .02 and doctor insists that I'm not hypothyroid and won't adjust Synthroid. I'm still foggy headed and hoarse. I'm on 150mg, but wonder if I need more. Has anyone else had similar experience?

my mother is having a very agressive quimotherapy treatment she is at stage 4. very delicate. two days ago was the first treatment. we will start once every week for 3 weeks and then once every month. I am very worry and want to help her out in any way I can. is there some drinks or something like enssure plus (a drink rich in proteins and in vitamins) that I can buy for my mother to help her body to rebuld her cells. please any help she is 67 years old
