I've been told that Ovarian Cancer is to a woman as Prostate Cancer is to a man. If that is true, then I think that my health insurance company is guilty of discrimination. But I am not an authority that can make that judgement. I am wondering if it would be worth my time to start a lawsuit against any big health insurance company for this issue. I do not have the money for something like that and would need a really good attorney that would be willing to do this for free. Any suggestions? (PS. I've been having pains in the lower groin area and no doctor that I've been to has said anything about O.C. except one that said the test is not covered. I think it is the CA-125 test.)

My husband had one wart and after my yrly GYN appointment, i was told I was loaded with them. I new I had something but had no idea it was that serious. My fault because the dr asked if i had any questions. I figured if it was something serious he would have told me. My recent pap showed abnormal cells and I am going to a GYN for further exam. I am scared that it could be cancer. Is it possible for my husband to be examineded and treated if he shows signs of the warts? His went away on its own. As far as I know he never went to the dr.
20 yrs ago when i had them I was ashamed and didn't tell anyone but my mom and that was because she was with me at the doctors. I believed at the time that he had cheated on me, even though i knew better. Reading some info on this, now I realize it could have been even before we dated and could have been either one of us. That doesn't stop me from feeling dirty and ashamed. How can I/we get over these feelings

Back in June we found out that my father has brain cancer. He originally had melanoma which then spread to the rest of his body, but the brain is the doctors' main focus. In July he had a Grand Mal seizure and was hospitalized for some time, then went to a nursing home for about 6 weeks while he underwent radiation therapy. He is now at home with me and I am caring for him 24/7. He's also currently taking Temodar (chemo) but the doctors are not very optimistic. I am just wondering what is to come, what do I need to be thinking about? What will happen mentally and physically to him? How do I know when things are really getting bad? I have a little bit, but not much of an idea of what will happen, as he already is having short term memory loss, vision loss, etc. I am interested in hearing from people who have been through this before with their own families. Thanks!

Ok let me explain my problem.
Me and the guy I have been dating for 3 years broke up for like 2 weeks and I went on a date with this guy I know and all he did was kiss me and touched my boobs! Well me and the other guy that I had been with for 3 years got back together and now his mother has called me and told me she HEARD that that guy I went on a date with has hepatitis C, which is very likely cause he had to have a blood transfussion cause he got hurt in Iraq, when he was over there fighting for us! Well she made me promise not to tell her son (my man) well I told him, and she thinks it would be wise if we ALL and im talking the whole freakin family gets a shot cause she thinks I might have it!!!! Well I have researched it and talked to nurses and they have all said that you can get it by touchin their blood or having sex for a really long time, which we did not do! Is it possible to get if from kissing??What do you think? What would you do about the mother buttin in all the time?

Hi everybody - Good Day to all.
I have a daughter who since her birth have problem of throat infection when ever she takes some cold things. Now since two years she has been effected too much and every month or two she has this problem and each time we take her to child specialist, the doctor gives her ANTIBIOTICS. With the caugh syrup or other medicine it does not work.

In last two years she may have taken ANTIBIOTICS minimum 10 to 15 times.

Now she has some skin infection like white patches on her face and neck. We are showing some skin specialist to her for this problem.

Can somebody tell me isn't it too much for a child of less than five years to give ANTIBIOTICS every 2 to 3 months?
And is the skin infection due to the ANTIBIOTICS or it can be other problem?

Is there any permanent solution for the throat infection problem for the child. She will be five years on 27th December 2006.

I will be very grateful for all of your answers and thank you in advance.
