I can tell you most all you need to know about skin cancer, since I have had it myself. I had Melanoma, the 'bad' one that is potentially fatal, but I know a bit about the other two types too. I like to frequent the Melanoma Patients Information page, or mpip. It is very helpful if you are a patient or survivor. Let me know if you would like more information!

I've had melanoma and am a survivor of 15 years. It was near fourth stage but was catagorized as third. It was on my left flank and was surgically removed. Did not receive any radiation or chemo and doing fine as far as I know. Have not had any other signs of disease.

I don't know about any websites, but I have 'precancerous' sunspots on my face that have to be burned off every 6 months with liquid nitrogen. But any suspicious looking mole or growth should be checked out.
