I believe that I have an urinary tract infection and want to treat it as soon as possible so that it won't get worse. However, I am not scheduled to see my gyno until another 3 weeks. What can be done in the meantime? (Serious responses please..)

My brother in law gives his 7year old son 1mg of melatonin at night.
Since he started giving him melatonin he has noticed positive results, better behavior, better grades in school. He seems to a better adjusted child. Prior to taking melatonin he had trouble sleeping and was always tired. He was also diagnosed with ADHD.

I quit smoking on New Years and this is pretty rough. After 18 years of smoking, chemical dependence really has a grip on me. I heard that there are some herbal treatments that can help. Anyone know any?

No... I am not interested in advice that involves SMOKING herbs :)

i was wondering if Chinese medicine work. i am asian and my parents are loyal to it. i drink it regularly. i drank it for my acne and to get rid of my toxins. it did help my acne and others have been cured by this. such as my dad's joints and my brother's skin problem. i'm not picking sides but i'm thinking it could be in their head.

I get horrid headaches since I started red yeast rice and Niacin non- flush. Is this a normal side effect? I only stared taking this via Dr'.s reccomendation instead of Lipator. it's only been 3 days. Will these headaches go away, as my body adjusts to this? I follow the rec dosage too.

My dad took 4 different Statin/cholesteral lowering medications, with a month off between each trial of new medicine.
He has been off the medication now for almost 2 years.
He has not regained muscle strength and is still easily fatiqued.
He has had muscle pain/weakness, irregular heart beat, fatique, etc.
**Please report any side effect or illness you or family or friend has experienced, and what you or they DID for treatment.
Any herbs or Vitimans you have taken or would suggest.

PLEASE ONLY ANSWER IF YOU HAVE KNOWLEDGE, OR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE--- list your symptoms from Statin drugs, and/or what you did to combat the symptoms after stopping the medicaton.
