Im 15, and I'm soooooooo flat, like crazy flat, so is my mom, so it totally runs in the family. No boys want me because of my flat chest. My mom says Im too young, but I need them!! What should I do??

i need a root canal have no insurance what can i do to get this procedure done without burning a hole in my pocket. DOnt want the carecredit thing. How about ameriplan or dentalplans do these work the discounted plans. I dont want insurance companies with waiting periods.

I had my #15 tooth pulled yesterday. It was so rotted that my dentist sent me to an oral surgeon. So I woke up this am in no pain! But it started bleeding really badly, and I called the surgeon and told him about a huge blood clot hanging from the site.

So I went into the office, and he pulled out the clot. It stopped bleeding, but there is a little bit of blood and it tastes funny. I still have the gauze on the site(a different piece of course), but I am scared to take the gauze off for fear of it will start bleeding again. Any words of advice/wisdom?

I smoke 10 cigs a day and been trying to quit. Ive used the patch and it works just fine but the craving comes back after 8 hrs of having it on.
The longes Ive quit is 3 weeks on patches but once i get started smoking i get addicted easily.
Ive heard of ZYBAN and CHANTIX.. any idea if this work? Is it prescribed? PLEASE HELP.

Years of therapy,etc. have only seemed to make me feel worse. I've never been myself & I've never felt like I belonged anywhere. I've lost jobs,relationships,friendships,even my self respect. I have a very supportive family & friends,but it only makes me feel guilty for trying so hard to help me. The emptiness is unbearable at times. Depression has always had such hold over me.(all of my life) To know what it feels like to live life "normally" is something I've never known.I'm not thinking of suicide right now(though I have in the past). Death terrifies me. I want to live. Maybe the thought of living like this is part of the reason why I feel the way I do.

I wear contacts mostly, and my prescription has changed slightly over the years. I just got a brand new pair of glasses to replace my very old pair, but the new pair hurts my eyes and when I turn my head, everything appears to curve in the room. But I never had this problem with my old pair of glasses.

My eye doctor prescribed my glasses 0.25 stronger because he says glasses need to be slightly stronger than contacts because they farther from your eyes.

Does any of this sound right to you or is something wrong here?

My 5 yr. old son is having a terrible time. He has just now come to the point of screaming and tears. He is afraid. Last week after a b/m there was a trickle of blood. I, of course, took him to the Dr. were they said that he must have gotten a small laceration within his bowels, and if the bleeding didn't subside in a few days, we would be referred to a specialist. The bleeding did stop, but now he is afraid. He has been eating plenty of grapes, raisins, plums and other fruit and drinking water. Does anyone know of any other household remedy that may help him?

I'm hoping for reassurance that I haven't wrecked my teeth for good...

I went regularly when I was a kid (up to age 17). Then that was it until I was 25 when I needed a wisdom tooth taken out. The dentist said I didn't need any other work doing.

Now I'm 34 and I can feel a hole. It's a tooth which already has a filling so I don't know whether I've lost part of that filling or whether it's a new cavity that's developed.

Common sense tells me that since all my teeth are made of the same stuff and have had the same experiences then if one has a hole the others won't be far behind. This is making me not want to go... stupid I know... I can't help it!

So, my question, to any dentists or dental nurses. In your experience, when people my age show up having left it for ten years, do they typically need loads of work doing as well as the specific problem they came in with? What are my chances of getting away with having left it so long?

Also, what should I expect? What's changed?
