I was diagnosed with lupus 11 years ago, symptoms were muscle pain, numbness in hands and feet, skin problems, rashes and hives, sore throat, head pain, rapid heartbeat, failure to sweat. I was also diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. 3 years ago I was bedbound with my hands in braces 24/.7. Someone suggested I try eliminating some foods from my diet. I had allergy testing done, found out I was allergic to wheat, eggs soy and meat (because commercial meat contains these allergens) I eliminated them from my diet, cut out all processed foods, eat nothing artificial, and eat primarily fruits, veg and fish. I also quit drinking toxic commercial milk and switched to raw milk. Within a week of starting this diet, I was able to remove my braces and walk with out a cane. Within a month I was completely fine. I have cheated on the diet 5 times in two years, and symptoms have come back every time! If I stick to it, I live like a normal human being! Good luck btw I am only 42 years old

My dad has Lupus- Lupus is often misdiagnosed because the symptoms are very similar to that of rheumatoid arthritis like swelling and pain in the joints. It also can be accompanied by overwhelming fatigue and some skin discoloration. Lupus is an autoimmune disease. It means that your immune system starts attacking healthy cells. The good thing about Lupus is (for the most part) it can be managed.
