I just bought a knit stitch reference book, and I'd like to use some of the stitches for mittens and socks. How do you convert a regular knit stitch pattern for knitting in the round? Do you only work right-side rows? Thanks.

I know I can look it all up on the internet, but what I need are real reviews. I like to do basic jewelry making, but I find myself amiss when I try to create and eye-loop or join together a necklace. Does anyone know of a how-to book with basics of making beaded jewelry?

I was watching a lady crochet in the hospital where I work. She was just jabbering along and going really fast at crocheting this afghan. She had the end of it stuffed into a basket and seemed to make it look so easy. I decided I want to learn how to do this to pass the time while I am at home. Can you give me any insight or helpful hints on this interesting hobby? I would like to learn to do it and become proficient at it. I am 42 yrs old. Am i just wasting my time?

love to scrapbook and recently got engaged. I wanted to dry one of the roses from my bouquet so that I can put the dried rose petal in my scrapbook. Any thoughts on the best way to dry the rose? Hang it upside down?

I have a mercury winged liberty dime from 1945. I don't collect coins and don't know anything about appraising the value. I don't think it is worth much to a coin collector, but I would like to know if I could sell it for anything. If you know how much it is worth or know of any good websites, I would like to know.

I decoupaged the front and sides. Across the top I added a ribbon with a buckle. Now I don't know what to do with the backside. Mostly because the ends of the ribbon are back there. If there were no ribbon I wouldn't have an issue here. Any ideas?

On the front, it has the face of one president on it(not sure who) facing the left from the left side of the coin. On the back, it has a picture of a beach with trees on it overlooking a body of water. The words around the coin on the back say "Lewis and Clark1805-Five Cents-United States Of America-E Pluribus Unum" Not exactly in that order. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
