A cross stitch picture. I have one I've been working at for 3 years! LOL
Or an afghan if you knit or crochet. Maybe a more complicated pattern. I can do a simple afghan in a few days.

You'll need a table, Elmer's water-proof wood glue, hobby knife, t-pins, rubber-bands, newspapers for easier clean-up(plastic wrap works very well too), mono-coating(a type of shrink wrap for such projects), and a blow-dryer.

You could make a lap quilt or fleece blanket. And if you have extra time you could make pillows to match!
