How do I finish the back of a decoupaged picture frame?

I decoupaged the front and sides. Across the top I added a ribbon with a buckle. Now I don't know what to do with the backside. Mostly because the ends of the ribbon are back there. If there were no ribbon I wouldn't have an issue here. Any ideas?

I finish mine with fabric, paper or even card stock. You can even use brown grocery bag type paper like the professional framers do. Just remember that you will need to be able to put either wire or a hanger on the back as well.

cover it with a thicker piece of matching color paper - like black as a backing.
