with knitting, u have to sew ur seam, if it was crochet, u could crochet the seam

I"ve always used a piece of yarn on a tapestry needle to sew a seam together. I'm not sure how you would knit it together. Unless it was knit in the round, in which case I would just gather the remaining stitches and secure the yarn.

You can do either. Sewing is easier and faster (with a machine) but knitting will leave a cleaner seem. If you do not have a sewing machine I recommend knitting it. Good luck!

You sew it with a big needle and the same yarn you were using, but make sure you don't get it too tight...
