I asked this a couple of months ago and didn't get much of a response, so I'll try again. Are there any bead or jewelry making enthusiasts out there who would like to share their favourite beading method? Or who need help with something?

Mine is wire, lampwork and polymer bead making.

Ok - I don't know the first thing about doing macrame but I remember that this older lady who used to babysit me at our apartment in Melvindale, MI when I was 4 or 5 had made me this cute purse. I lost it and have always thought about it now and then. That was 25 years ago and this is even after a closed head injury I had 14 years ago to the day.

I remember how mystified I was by that purse, and still am. I remember how lucky I felt when she made me one and I remember how disappointed I was when I misplaced it (being a little kid you know I wasn't that careful with my stuff!) The bottom of the purse was made of the lower third of a plastic dish soap bottle. I'd love to at least see something like this online. I wonder whatever happened to that sweet old lady...

What is the best tool for knotting between beads? I've seen several kinds, some more expensive than others. I want something that is effective and easy to use. I'm horrible at knotting without a tool. Thanks for your responses!

I am looking to make beaded keychains and earrings and such with beads that have a logo on it. Anyone know a site that will do anything like that? I would like to have silver, but would be okay with glass beads or such. Thanks!

I'm currently working on a cross stitch design on Aida fabric. The picture is nearly finished and I've noticed a stain on the fabric right next to the stitches. I want to frame the picture and the stain would be seen through the glass as it's so close to the picture. Could anyone suggest a way to remove the stain that wont damage the stitches or the Aida fabric itself? Unfortunately I have no idea what sort of stain it is! It appeared from nowhere!

I found a site that looked cheap but the shipping and handeling was so expensive. Most of the time Shiny colored lace is more expensive then regular or tri colored lace.

Its not fusible webbing. Its for stiffening fabric crafts like purses and hats. You sew it into the material. Its usually white and very fiberous looking. I'm having a brain cramp and cannot for the life of me remember what its called. Need to pick up some for a project but don't want to sound like the idiot I am. :)

Im thinking about starting a Christmas present wrapping service in my area. Where I supply the wrapping paper and ribbon/decoration, or the customer could supply if they wish. Does any one think that this will be sucessfull? I would charge obviously but not sure how much, what do you suggest? I would also offer a collection/delivery service. Its just something that could take a little bit of the stress away from Christmas, and it's something i enjoy doing.

What do you think!?

Any feedback would be great! Thanks!
