I play the original Eon version from a few decades ago. There have been three or four versions since then. If you do play this then what version do you play, Eon, Avalon Hill, Mayfair, or the new Version?

ok, I played this game of chess woth this guy I like and I want to know if he let me win or not. So can you guys tell me if this rule is true. Lets say there is the king and two rooks a couple spaces in front, all in one line. ok so if the king is able to kill one of the rooks, the other rook can kill the king. So is that putting yourself in check mate? and is there a rule that you can't put yourself in check mate?

I was playing chess with my dad over the phone.

I discovered I had placed his queen and king on the wrong squares, several moves into the game.

I wanted to restart the game, but he wasn't willing.

At this point, I didn't consider the game fair, so I let him win, without losing any of his own pieces.

Was that fair treatment, for him not enabling me to start over?

i just began to play chess a few months ago, however I have learned rather quickly. But I was taught that my opponent usually moves his/her king's pawn first. But when my opponent moves his/her queen pawn first, that throws me off and gets me confused and off my normal game. How do I play it where it doesn't throw me off?

After I win or lose the points goes up or down. It varies. Is there a formula? I notice for newer players points goes up or down in the 20s.

I have no idea what i may have done. I can play other games, but its been about four months that i can not play dominos. last time i played was in January. I only play for fun, i don´t get upset when i lost, nor did i laugh at any one or say how good i was when i won. I just enjoyed playing the game, now i have been locked out for about four months.

Last night I played Monopoly with my family and I was the first to get sent to jail. Since I am such a cheap-skate I decided not to pay the fine and to try rolling doubles on my first lost turn, but I did not succeed. So on my next lost turn I decided to pay the fine... After I payed, I was about to roll the dice to move, and my husband said that the fine that I paid only puts me in "Just Visiting" and I would get to roll and move on my next turn..... Is this correct?
