so, i am planning to go tomorrow to six flags magic mountain, and i have an industrial piercing (left ear, barbell through two holes) , ive had it for about seven weeks, and it still hurts if i bump it,especially in the top part, and i dont know what rides i can get on, im scared of bumping my ear, and then it bleeding and hurting too much to want to get on any other rides after..! does anybody know what rides probably do have people bumping the sides of their heads and ears? sounds kind of silly i know, but i dont want to risk being in excrusiating pain (hope thats how u spell it). any suggestions? what rides are okay, which definately aren't??
thanks for your help :)

Around 1996/97 I was about 6 years old when I visited Universal studios. I remember there was an attraction that involed the audience sitting around a huge glass cylinder with a monster inside of it. You were strapped into your seats as though a roller coaster, but the seats were bolted firmly to the floor. You hear the scientists talking about the creature thay've created/discovered and how proud they were. Suddenly the lights go out and the monster has escaped.

That's all I can remember about the attraction, and I can't seem to find anything about it on the website. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

My vote goes to Thunder River at Six Flags Over Georgia. Everytime you ride it is a new experience.

I really like themeparks, but don't get to go that often, so i really value my souvenirs from such parks/family trips etc etc

Was just wondering, what is your most prized souvenir from a holiday/trip where you had a great time?

I was able to visit Disneyland in late 04' and had a blast!
I brang soo many things back with me which i now reflect on like photo's, video camera footage (we filmed like 'a day in disneyland' and other interesting things), daily map's and so on, but my most prized souvenir was all the 'elongated pennies/pressed pennies' i collected (have soo many from around the park). They are my favourites because they were soo out of the ordinary and unique, once in a lifetime type things (as i'm from Australia, we don't have anything like that here)

So does anyone else here collect 'pressed pennies' or have great souvenirs that hold a special significance for u, and if so why?

thanx in advance :)

I am going to Wonderland, this week or next. Has anyone ever put their dog in the boarding facility there. I do not want them Not to care for her, and she can't be home alone. (She is 6 months old) she will pee in the house, and it is just too long. What was your experience like when you put your dog there? Thank you.

Me and my friends are going to Disneyland tomorrow and we all have passes except for one of my friends. Well we don't want to wait in the really long line. Can you buy the tickets before at the Disneystore? I know you can online but his dad doesnt trust the internet.

Not passes but the one day ticket...can you get those at the Disneystore?

(And making it free, while that would be awesome, doesn't count!)

My three:
(1) Make all of the parks completely nonsmoking.
(2) Expand Epcot's International Gateway to include more nations, such as India, Brazil, Russia, and countries representing Africa and the Middle East.
(3) Update the technology in the rides to bring them more on par with attractions at Universal and other newer parks so they don't become obsolete.
