Thanks for the answers. Also, is it completely dark when you're on the ride? About how long is it?

you're sitting down

Although it's an elevator, you couldn't possibly stand when it drops.

you sit down. The ride isn't very long. But it is amazing. The last time I went to Disney, it was raining really hard and I figured that I would ride the tower of terror before they closed it. When I got to the top, it started lightning and thundering. It was really scary, but a lot of fun. If it rains, I suggest you do it in the rain. I think that it lasts about 7 minutes or so, when your car leaves the elevator shaft and starts to move forward, that takes the longest. When you start to drop, look there will be a door towards the bottom, Sometimes when you look in it, there will be a green glowing girl waving at you.

Oh if you go to the muppets 3D show, when you enter, there will be a booth that says something like key under mat. there is a mat near the booth, if you walk over to the mat, there is a key under it. One of the secrets of Disney many people don't know about. Also, in the pre-show area there is a Muppet version of Jim Henson in the rafters.

You are sitting for the entire duration of the ride, with a restraining bar across your lap.

The ride "car" is a cargo elevator, with a small ight on the ceiling, just like there would be in any cargo elevator. When the ride vehicle starts to ascend, cool things start to transpire. You are not in the dark. Without giving too much away, your ride vehicle will start to move forward, and the visuals on this ride, in my opinion, outweigh the drops.

The drops look a lot scarier than they really are.

I can't quite remember how long the ride lasts, but it's about six minutes. Remember, it's not all about dropping. Cool stuff happens before the big finale.

Ride it. Have fun! Tell us how ya liked it (I'm sure you will).

O wow, what a great question, I just went to Disney Orlando! Anyway, you're sitting down. If you were standing up, I think that would be a bit dangerous! O yeah, the ride is about 2 minutes long.

yes, u are sitting down and there are "arm rests" on both edges of the seat. its not completely dark but it mostly is. but when u are actually about to drop, a door opens so u can look outside and ur really high up there are some figures you can see so its not pitch black. as for length, that changes everytime depending on how much you bounce. its a realllyy good ride but kinda terrifying

sitting, yes it is dark but you are watching something so you aren't in complete darkness like a closet. It doesn't take long, a minute or two I would guess. It is awesome, even my 7 year old loved it once we got her on it.
