should i get it from bestbuy or circuit city like do u think any of the stores just take used products and reseal them or do u think there both a great place to buy from?

What a conspiracy theory! No, they sell new laptops only. Its always possible that you could get a returned computer, but I think they let you know before buying it. If I were you, I would look at the laptops Walmart. Best Buy and Circuit City are good too. By the way, I wonder why you categorized this question as Amusement Parks?

Both of these stores always sell returned items at a discount. I have purchased a few. Once from Circuit City and once from Best Buy If it had been sold and returned you will know.

I just bought one yesterday from best buy. Its better to buy there because after you buy one you can leave it there for 30 minutes so that they can set up the computer like install windows vista, and other stuff for free.
I bought the one year bestbuy warranty incase I drop it and it cracks.
And if you want your files from your other computer you can pay them to do that for you too.

I think Best buy is cheaper and their customer service is exceptional.
You can also look online and compare prices. Best buy is now having excellent back to school specials daily on laptops. I purchased my laptop for a little over $700.

Best Buy for sure. WalMart sucks hardcore and no one there has any knowledge about computers. Plus if you buy your laptop from Best Buy geek squad will install your anti virus software and make a back up disc of your hard drive for you. I got a sony vaio there and absolutely LOVE it!

yeah get it from best buy,circuit city,fries,or walmart or online but also depends what laptop you want make sure before you go shopping for it know what you want and what kind i recomend fries they have great computers there and good prices there to!

why not going to something like PC world, Curry's etc i could check best buy or circuit city on line if i wanted but i can't be bothered you could also look on websites like www.amazon.com and www.play.com as they are good websites and are normally cheaper then normal stores.

I reccomend buying a Dell from E-Bay. Purchase one "off-lease" from a reseller. Use one with a lot of feedback that offer's a warranty. You won't be dissappointed!
