Hi, I know nothing about coin collecting, advice is appreciated! From the little I've read, I'm wondering if its smart to buy gold bullion coins from a reputable dealer. Is it easy to make a profit over the years if I slowly buy them? How exactly do I profit, by reselling them to a dealer eventually?

I'm working on crocheting some baby blankets for a couple of new moms. I've discovered that I'm really not a big fan of baby yarn, it just seems to tangle very easily. My question is, if I use a soft worsted weight yarn for baby items would it be okay or do I risk irritating a baby's delicate skin?

My girlfriend has a lot of sports cards (2,500+) that we are looking to sell. Neither of us have the time or knowledge to go through every single card and find its value to sell it. We also don't have a large amount of money, but I would be willing to get it appraised if it meant getting more money for it. I want to sell them fairly fast (1 year or sooner). Any suggestions?

I know nothing about coins, so I wanted to ask someone who does. To me it all seems a little iffy, but please read on. Someone gave my aunt an 1865 Dollar coin with the same characteristics of a 1997 quarter. The coin is a heavy silver coin and it looks exactly like a quarter, except that instead of quarter dollar it says one dollar and instead of 1997 it says 1865. How can this be? It looks authentic, but to me, it is a fake. If you know, please let me know what could have happened. Was it made? Thanks!
