I am not sure I understand your question.
I know lanyards, you can make them many ways, but one of the knots to make a round one is:

Make it over and over again.
But to make 100 yards sounds strange.
If you mean a different kind of landyard, please explain a bit more.

if you know how to make the square, the circle is easy,
instead of going straight across, go at a diagonal with all four laces. you can even make a zig zag circle if you do a square stitch after every four or five circle stitches.
