Schlitterbahn is widely known as one of the best (if not THE BEST) waterparks in the world. There's absolutely no comparison between Schlitterbahn and the water park at Astroworld.
Schlitterbahn has all the stuff of the "other" parks, plus several water roller coasters where water actually propels you upwards on some slopes as well as one of the longest lazy rivers in the world. If you take the slower option of each, it'll take you up to 40 min for one trip on their lazy river!
There's three parts to Schlitterbahn, and each offers great stuff. They also have a boogie bahn ride where you attempt to surf using boogie boards. It's awesome.

went 2 summers ago, the best waterpark I have ever been to, the older portion is fueled by a river and there are so many inner tube rides and pools and all the new stuff plus it's 30 min outside of San Antonio. GO!

schlitterbahns sucks i rode the kiddy water slides it was the most fun and if you want to make your money back just get in the wave pool my brother found $60 and i found about $45 the best water park was at Astroworld in houston but they closed it down

i went to Schlitterbahn in texas it was probably the most fun ive ever had in my life but i left with 2 ear aches from water in my ears so bring ear plugs.
