I have three questions. First, can I do my Eagle Scout Project before I have all 21 merit badges? Also, would you approve my idea: I am going to run a toy and food drive. I will send a letter to friends and family that asks for them to bring a non-perishable food item or/and a new toy to a station that I will have set up for two days for about 3-5 hours each day. If you wouldn't approve it why?

I know there are silk screening, printing it on an iron on transfer etc. I just want to know what way will be best to keep it from peeling off, or falling apart. We are having our 3rd Annual Beltane Celebration on May 6th, 2007 in Selah, WA. The difference between this event and the ones we've had in the past is that it will be at a public park. The park staff discourage people putting holes in the ground. So, how can we set up a tall & sturdy Maypole without placing it into the ground. Is there some way of building a heavy stand that will hold it up while the celebrants dance and twine the ribbons around the pole?
