There are many craft fairs during the Holidays, usually starting in late October. Find out about them and maybe you can rent a booth and sell your things that way. Ebay is probably not the way to do it.

I am like you, I do lots of different things.

To sell, you have to have your own designs - no patterns or kits. Mainly it has to be something they wouldn't be able to do themselves, or would cost them more to do themselves.

Look through catalogs. Those companies have done a lot of research on what shoppers want, so you can get an idea of what kinds of things will sell.

Several years ago I launched a website with EVERYTHING on it. Then after a couple of years it distilled itself down to what sells well and what I enjoy making.

Keep up on what's happening. For a few years I did really well with $12.00 decorator Christmas stockings, then -boom - all of a sudden they can get them for $3.00 at Big Lots.

You can also do craft fairs or find a craft store that will sell your things on consignment or rent you shelf space.

I used Ebay for 2 years as a test market. Nowadays the website is so busy I don't bother with Ebay.

It depends on your target market.

For example: I sew, crochet, make polymer clay jewelry items, etc (I'm a craftaholic, lol)

I can depending on the availability and demand of an item at any given time sell either on ebay, at local events that have vending, do craft shows, or do as my friends do and set up at Etsy (which sells handcrafted items though there is a smaller section for supplies) You just have to feel out your market before making the decision and most importantly... do what you love.

YOu can start writing songs/music, but I'm not sure how you can make money off of that. A website that you can start on is Etsy. Here is a list of things you can make: Birdhouses (sorry, I don't think the greatest idea, only if you're up for it) Bracelets (there are crochet bracelets) Jewelry I hope this helps :) Good luck! If you end up getting a shop/website tell me the name, and I might buy something (:

Here is a suggestion, but it would require an outlay of capital. I enjoy using my computerized embroidery machine. I have thought about producing embroidered quilt squares and marketing them at quilt shows. Those who enjoy qulting but who do not have access to an embroidery machine might like to incorporate them into their quilts. They would not be difficult to transport, and you could work on them for short periods of time. Pay attention though when you buy designs to each designer's rules about how many copies of the design you may produce for resale.

i crochet small animals, potholders, baby blankets and afghans and sell them at craft shows and bazaars that schools and churches put on. U pay for a space, never more than $50, and hope u have what the people wanted.
good luck

Pre-made scrapbook pages sell for wild prices on eBay. Without the photos of course ;-) - The last one I saw went for $700!!!! It was really nice.

Doing scrapbook style pages on canvas is also getting very popular. Check this website:

none of it will really ever make you what you need to make a clear profit. it takes so much time and most of us have to pay retail prices for the supplies. just doesnt fly, teaching might make you more money.
