Griffon is being built NOW! It is expected to open in late May (May 25 2007). It is a floorless dive coaster - plummeting 205 staight down. I rode SheiKra in Tampa which is the same design and type of attraction. It was amazing. SheiKra was not floorless but it is suppose to be converted to a floorless coaster. The car was tilted forward so you were looking straight down. They held you in that position, and released you to go straight down. You were facing the ground the entire time. Wow. You did a couple of loops and then you dived again. If this is opened when you go, do it first. The lines will be huge.

The question of best rides always depends on your interests, however I like :)
Apollo's Chariot - a hyper coaster with a 210 foot first drop, 8 other drops and a maximum speed of 73 m.p.h. - no inversions, no shoulder harness, a very unique restraint system.
Alpengeist -an inverted roller coaster with 6 inversions at a maximum speed of 67 M.P.H. A ski -lift gone wrong!
Both those coaster certainly rank high in any coaster list. Apollo's Chariot can get very busy so get there early in the morning.
Loch Nest Monster roller coaster was at one time, the signature roller coaster of the park. It still is a challenging coaster. It has a unique interlocking loops - these loops are very tight. It also has a long tunnel, a huge helix in the dark. The coaster is getting a bit old but has held up very well over the years.
Escape from Pompeii is a well theme water ride. A little short but cool flames.
Curse of DarkKastle is a dark ride that tries to be like Spiderman at Islands of Adventure. I didn't think it was that great but it if you go to the park it shouldn't be missed.
Roamn Rapids is one of those raft rides designed to get you soaked.
The Big Bad Wolf is a suspended roller coster with minimum thrills but is intergrated very well into the landscape. The Park is very pretty when the things are in bloom. some consider it the best landscaped park in the USA.
You got Corkscrew Hill - a 3d movie simulator that was fun but by then I was tired and it kinda made me sick, LOL. Pirates a "4D" movie that had some good parts. Le Scoot a log flume ride.
Emerald Beat meshes Irish music and dance. A good show. Would be on most people list of not to be missed. Pet Shenanigans is a fun show especially for the kids. All sorts of trained animals are put through their paces. A fun show that should make you smile if not laugh, The eagles are cool, to bad they had to get injured before they can get to the Park. If you got time, the beer school is fun but it does take time away from the Park.
The Le Coq d'Or is pretty good place to eat as theme parks go. a sit down restaurant. If you want BBQ go to Trappers Smokehouse. The best place to eat for me was the Das Festhaus A great show and food.
Any hints - get there early. Apollos Chariot, Alpengeist and Griffon (if open) will draw the biggest lines.

The Big Bad Wolf and the Loch Nest Monster are the popular favorites of Busch Gardens Williamsburg. I took pictures of Escape From Pompeii when I went on that ride. It is so cool! It is almost as expensive to go to Busch Gardens for a day as it is to go to one of the Disney World Parks! It is cheaper to get a season pass or get a 50% off coupon like I did when you go.

I been to all the Orlando amusement parks and you can get the best rides in Universal studios. I think Busch Gardens fun too but if I were to want a thrill ride that is different I go for Universal. If you go to Orlando Bush Gardens is only 90 min for Universal so you can get a twofer. Cedar Point has some great roller coasters but if you like different go Universal. Universal is perhaps the most dedicated high tech of them all. Be careful and have a safe trip.
