He didnt really lose interest in cars...i can just tell that he wants to find something else until he can get the dough to fix his car up.

He should take up playing pool, or playing golf. If sports isn't really his thing to do, maybe putting puzzles together or assembling model cars.

How can someone lose interest in cars??? There are so many different types to play with and work on that the possibilities are endless...
Hmm... there's always motorcycles :D
Vintage bikes like old metric Kawasaki's or Suzuki's are easy to come by and cheap.... plus parts are easy to find online too.

A hobby is something you like to do on your own and by personal choice. Why would you have to look for a new hobby for him? You are his wife and you probably know some of his preferences but he should be the one choosing his hobby. Try to sound him out and suggest he try out some new things.

how about pyrography its woodburning art on different kinds of wood alot sells on ebay and its not that hard to do if you can draw. you can find books on how to do it on albris for about 3.00 dollars a book and buy the burner at michaels.

a hobby for your hubby(LOL)? hmmmm well cars and plants can be boring so get him addicted to porn. That will shut him up and i dont think he will complain about being bored unless he is old. if he is then get him something sweet like a carnivorous plant... or carnivourous car lol.

How about metal detecting? It's fun, inexpensive, and you can find all kinds of buried treasures! I am thinking of trying it myself.
