I know there are silk screening, printing it on an iron on transfer etc. I just want to know what way will be best to keep it from peeling off, or falling apart. I wanted to use it as a 'decal' for a messenger bag, shirt or a jacket. If you have suggestions, could you tell me what you think the cost would be?

Scan it in on your scaner, print it off on iron on transfer paper and Voila!! If you follow the iron on instructions well, It'll stay on forever. I've tried it and it works!

go to a computer supply shop and get transfer paper, put the book on a flatbed scanner and scan the picture and print it on the heat transfer paper, then iron it onto whatever you like, it might not stay forever, but you can do them for about a dollar each i think.

Does the book give permission to use the picture? Most will not, even if you do not intend to sell it. Write to the publisher and ask for permission.

If you do get permission and want to apply it to a ready-made item, you can use itron-on transfer paper or printer fabric and then sew it on around the edges.
