When you place your carrots etc into the supplied clear bags, do you knot the end? Does this make the bag heavier? Are you paying for the bag or the carrots? Time for my tablets I think!!!!

Ok, I'm running this course at university, which is a three day course for new students, mainly aimed to promote new friendships and feelings of security.

One of my tactics is treats. I will get some lollies for people, but I don't know who is coming and I want something for diabetics or just health conscious people. Without being brand specific (in case I can't get it), can you please help me find suitable foods...

I was reading the nutritional info on my bread and it said that 100g provides 228 calories, and that a 2 slice serving which is 76g provides 75 calories.

How does that work out? Maybe I`m calculating this wrong but if you divide 228 by 100 and multiply by 76 you dont get 75 calories you get 173.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Why is it that when you eat weetabix/porridge/cornflakes/muesli that if you don't wash the bowl straightaway the remains weld themselves to the bowl?? I am no weakling and I have to use alot of arm strength to scrub the bits off! Its like the remains becomes part of the ceramic!! Can someone explain why breakfast cereals do this?
