do you mean if my little doggy saw it sitting on the table and being such a cleaver girl knew her mistress was on a diet so decided to sabotage said muffin by having a good old shake all over it...then no out of respect for my dogs genius I would not eat it

Assuming we are talking about a culinary topic. If my muffin was hairy I would assume that it was somewhat beyond it's "Best if used by" date. In general I consider eating any type of spores, mold. or fungi repulsive. with the exception of mushrooms.
